UFO Night; July 17 2010

Eating is over...now time to get to work. Sorry I didn't take pictures
of the food spread.
We had 12 people in attendance this time. In other words, we were filled
to capacity.
It was an incredibly fun evening, and even a productive one for some.

Scolding the sock puppet

Lindy, our champion sock knitter, is going to the dark side. She
learned to do peyote stitch,
how to read a chart, how to back up and correct a mistake. She was
enthralled! Her first
bird was finished before the night was through.
Kazuri Trunk Show 2010

OK...so focus is not my strong point, but you get the idea. There were
loads of beautiful
beads available for purchase. We did get a nice, but small, selection for
the shop. They
are selling fast.
What is it?

Kookie brought this intriguing little device as a gift for one of the
Birthday Girls at UFO night in
July 2010. We were all intrigued. It turned out to be a lighted pair
of tweezers in a case with a
mirror. It was the perfect gift for Roseanne for pulling out stitches from
herebeaded quilting.
Kookie is being tight-lipped about where it came from.
